Quick fixes

Today I want to share two little hacks, I cant even call them DIYs :D 

First is a t-shirt hack, I've seen it somewhere on the internet, but who knows where... This is the back of my tee, i cut little straight lines over the back and it looks great. Excuse the chalk marks, I was excited to take pictures :) This was planned for a couple weeks now, but I just didnt have time... Well it took maybe 20 minutes... :P I cut the sleeves into thin strips which now fall nicely from my shoulders, and I added black triangular studs to the last row of holes....

Todays second hack is this patch jacket turned into a vest. You may remember my post about this jacket from last year (too lazy to look it up :P) I was planning to have many more patches on it by this time, but I didn't find any Id like to add :) I cut off the sleeves as close to the seams as I could and as I collected a bunch of new band pins I added them to it (not pictured)...

Do these count as DIYs ? :) I dont know, I dont care, I like it :) 

Dress up...

 I bought these last week when we visited the Salvador Dali exhibition I wrote about. I absolutely love all of these pieces. Mostly the jacket, I really wanted one like that, it will go perfectly with all my clothes... :) The crossed sweater was on a huge discount (I got it for not even 20% the original price) And I absolutely love the skirt. It's from H&M and I love it. 

 last Wednesday work outfit, pictures taken on my tablet before I went to work. Jacket F&F, sweater New Yorker, leggings unknown shop. I wore simple black tee under the sweater and black sneakers with it...

I finally got more into taking outfit pictures. It's really simple with tablet, leave it in the stand and just capture. The quality is not too good, but the front camera seems a little cheap :/ Oh well, I will take these pictures on some days, Not every day, I don't have time for that ... :)

Change in the wind

Since last week I started to feel like the summer was over. I already mentioned it in one of previous posts about my color choices. And it became obvious today when we went out to get pizza and I dressed in real Fall-like outfit (dark brown pants, army green top, brown sweater, tall boots) I was going through my Polyvore history and noticed how my style shifts in time. Not that I would go from one style to another and stick to it for some time and move on again... My style changes with seasons!

In summer it's all boho hippie maxi dresses and beads, when fall comes it shifts into country girl - cowboy boots, lots of plaid, earthy tones and denim. In winter I dress rocker/rockabilly with black clothes and strong contrasts, and just as the spring arrives it shifts into more romantic sweet and girly look with more pastel colours ... I decided to demonstrate this by picking some of my favorite polyvore sets from the last 3 years... 

this one is from 3 years ago, from this very time when I was getting ready for my first semester in college, and was inspired by Gossip girl. I still like it to this day and with some changes I wear it over and over every fall.

This was an inspiration board for my freshmen party, I was a fresh proud owner of these exact doc martens and mixed them with everything. I ended up wearing a similar purple prom dress with these shoes, and it was the best decision. Everyone loved it and I didn't have to worry about my health in heels :) 

this one is from the beginning of summer two years ago when I did a blog post series about summer trends I want to wear. And I wouldn't mind wearing those exact outfits any day of this summer !!!

another outfit I wouldn't mind wearing now even though its 2 years ago. I remember that at the time I created it, Jeffrey Cambell Litas were all the rage, and I also wanted my own pair so bad... I have saved them to my polyvore in every color and style they made :) and I still don't have that kimono that I want so much... 

another fall outfit from 2 years ago, made of simple basic pieces with a little twist (such as red cowboy boots which I also own since last year :) ) for this fall I need to get a good leather jacket, because the one I had is completely broken and unwearable now.

this one may not look too wintery, but conveys the atmosphere and feeling I usually get in winter. Bleek and harsh, which is what this outfit is to me, I still love it, but not the feeling that comes with it...

here is my spring outfit from this year. Pastel colours all the way, I even bought some pastel accessories and really made my spring cute and colorful...

Chambray dress restyle

BEFORE:

Shapeless thrift store dress gifted to me by my boyfriend's mother. They were too big on my chest, hips,  not to mention the straps were snipped off at a weird length... but i loved the material so I got to work...

AFTER: 

I snipped off the top part with the straps to create a strapless dress with lower back

Push my buttons

Tyhle supr šatičky jsem si koupila v sekáči, i přesto že jim chyběly dva knoflíčky ... žádný problém, za tu cenu :) 

I bought this pretty dress in a thrift store, even though they missed two buttons...but for the price thy were, no problem :)

většinou se na žádné kolekce nijak netěším, tak jak jiní bloggeři že bych odpočítávala dny kdy bude uvedena nebo tak... ale tyhle šatičky bych moc chtěla. Jsou z kolekce Vanessa Paradis for H&M conscious která by měla být dostupná v březnu...

usually I'm not into special collaborations and collection, like other bloggers, looking forward to launch etc. But Id love to have this dress from Vanessa Paradis for H&M conscious collection that should launch in March 2013...

Můra

čím jsem starší, tím míň si užívám byt nemocná. ještě před pár rokama na gymplu to bylo super, to jsem zůstala doma, napsala si omluvenku a napsala miláčkovi a on šel za školu a došel za mnou ;) což sice pořád nebylo super ptž mi bylo blbě, ale aspoň se o mě někdo staral <3 teď chodí do práce tak zdrhnout nemůže... i když v neděli se o mě taky staral :-* 

na nemoci jsou fajn jenom ty poslední dny... už nemám teplotu ani mě nebolí v krku, ještě mám trošku rýmu a pekelný kašel čas od času :D ale už můžu normálně fungovat :P 

za poslední dobu jsem nasbírala pár úžasných látek :) ta kytičková bude rozhodně na super retro letní šatky se spodničkou a mašlí. ta pruhovaná asi na overálek ve stylu Beetlejuice :D no a nejvíc miluju ty můrovo motorkové :) ta černá bude na tašku a nějaké mašličky na prodej a chtěla jsem šaty z té bílé,  protože na tom potisku je vidět víc detailů, ale bylo jí v obchodě už málo... takže je z ní sukýnka a na mašličky taky zbyde ;)

v plné práci, místo stolu slouží zem :D

Potřebuju

tyhle šaty, a to fakt nutně... teda asi až na jaro tak mám přes zimu dost času sehnat takovou látku :)

OOTD: Rush !!!

Dneska ráno jsem se vydala vyřídit novou občanku... tak jsem se hezky oblíkla, namalovala, učesala, ať si dalších několik let nedělám ostudu ... no chyba lávky... seděla jsem tam přes 2 hodiny a stejně bylo přede mnou pořád 15 lidí... a za chvíli mám jít do práce takže asi tak... ani bych už nestihla uvařit to co jsem měla naplánované vzít si do roboty na večeři, naštěstí mě zachránil kamarád který dělá v restauraci :)  no na hlavu fakt... nicméně jsem se stihla aspoň vyfotit tak snad mi to slušelo ;) :D 

New clothes

šatičky které jsem šila minulý týden, úúúplně jsem je zapomněla vyfotit... až dnes když jsem si je chtěla dát na sebe :D už je to trapný, ale zase podle jednoho střihu :D ještě přemýšlím jestli nahoru přidat ty bílé záložky či co to je... :D ale asi ne :) nebo já nevim...

a konečně mám overálek po kterém už asi dvě léta tak moc toužím :) sice úplně jednoduchý (hodil by se mi ještě jeden kytičkový třebas...) ale je parádní, mám ho od soboty, už jsem ho měla na sobě u vody a myslím že celé léto nechci chodit v ničem jiném :D a navíc mi perfektně padne k plavkám, mám bílomodré námořnické pruhované přesně v tomhle odstínu :) ... a světe div se, je z KIKu, poslední kus a za 159 Kč :D
