Summer random

Hello, Im alive :) I was so busy with having all the summertime fun, I completely  forgot about this space (and some other stuff :D ) Today Im leaving for a camping weekend, so in the little spare time I have between packing, I made these little collages :)

In the beginning of July we celebrated my sister's bachelor degree in Ostrava by visiting a zoo, yummy drinks, yummy food and fun :) 

Some stuff I bought over the summer, and what I made and what I wore :)

After Im back from the camping trip, I will share some pictures from the music festivals I been to this summer. I have some pictures but no time to see them at all :D Now excuse me, I have to go make a playlist for the super fun trip ahead of me ...

Recently i started a new job, one that I have no experience in, so my last weeks were filled with learning and keeping my head from exploding and no blogging time :( Today I had a little time to draw my idea for a future tattoo - I was pushed to do it, because there is a competition from my favorite tattoo artist for a free tattoo :)

Buzz

Today I spent the afternoon with my friend getting another tattoo :) (number 6) We decided on it last Wednesday, when our friend came to the pub with a new tattoo :) we both had ideas and were waiting to make them permanent, we both had money saved and since she leaves on the 9th Jan, we wanted to do this together before she leaves. Luckily for us, the tattoo artist was free today :) He is great big dude with cool sense of humor and before he actually started tattooing, we spent an hour just chatting and laughing :D if you are interested in more of his work here is a link to his Facebook page.

I was a bit scared because I heard many scary stories about tattooing over bones, but in the end, it wasn't as bad as I tought. I was distracted by my friend and the mister himself and only felt real pain a couple times near my toes and around the top... I will be getting a matching one on my other foot too:)

If there are any Supernatural fans reading this, you may recognize the gun and the saying 'Non Timebo Mala'. It is the demon killing colt and these words are written on it... It's latin and means 'I shall fear no evil'. I really liked it since I first saw it on the show and yes, I am that kind of fangirl :D (my first tattoo was a Bob Marley and Zion related Lion of Judah :P ) I really like the meaning and the gun was supposed to be just a symbol, a reminder to keep fighting... I love it so much, the way it looks, I'm getting the same gun mirrored on my other foot with words 'Intus mihi vires' which means 'Strenght comes from within me'. I wanted to get those words with a rosary tied around my ankle, but this will look much more awesome and the meaning stays the same....

Life...

I was really busy last week and wasn't even in the mood for blogging... Today I have some  random pictures for you from last week :) I was working both Friday and Saturday night, so that's the most I'm capable of today. And as Czech Republic has a bank holiday tomorrow, the disco I work at is opened also tonight :) maybe I'll be going there with a friend :D Putting money back in the business :D

Birthday girl

Today it's my 23rd birthday :) Happy birthday to me :P Yesterday we went to a party with my sister and friend to celebrate, my sister had the DJ read a wish she wrote for me and play me a song ( Work bitch by Britney :D currently our favorite one...) 

 I also got myself some birthday gifts :) My tradition is to buy pink vanilla flavor cigarettes and nail polish,this year I also added a pretty ring (not pictured, had it on my hand :D ) and knee high sock, because they are just so pretty :)

Now I'm going to eat delicious birthday lunch and get ready for a family party this afternoon :) I'll share more pictures tomorrow :)

News

I was busy the last few days with work, catching up with friends and life in general :) Today, finally I had a day off, so I spent it helping my Mom clean our apartment, then we went for lunch ( Mexican restaurant, yum) and shopping. Next month I'll celebrate my birthday, and as Fall/winter stuff is already sold in stores, my Mom decided to give me a birthday gift a month too early :D and she bought me some other stuff too, such as socks, hair ties and tiny necessities ;) 

I absolutely love this pillow, even though I have so many of them, I might need a bigger bed soon :D (but still there are so many pillows Id like to have) they also had a second version with the owl's body made of tweed, I might need that one too :D  

Mom bought me those cute socks, because our washing mashine seems to be eating them (does it happen to anyone else ? :D ) and I got the current issue of Burda. There are some pretty patterns that I want to sew for Fall, so I need to plan a trip to a fabric store :) 

And finally, my early birthday gift.... It was love at first sight... I'm speechless, those are the ultimate dream boots, I already have a milion outfits planned with them, hopefully I will be able to capture some of them :)

Two weeks for now there's a flea market in my town, so if the weather allows I will go and sell some of my creations :) Tomorrow and the next few days will be filled with crafting and creating :) Get ready to see a lot of earrings and stuff :D 

Family trip

 This weekend I  went for  a short trip with my family (well, it was short for me, as I had to work today, they are staying for a week). We stayed in a pretty cottage - hotel. When we came there I realised I have already been there few years ago with my dance  team.  :) The  only downside was the weather...

We played a lot of games, pool, bowling, board games :)

I wanted to see so much more in the region we stayed, but unfortunately the weather didn't allow us, and also I had to leave early. But I enjoyed even that short stay, we had a lot of fun. And also, this was probably the last trip of this summer... Can't wait for next summer :D

Road trip...

On Thursday we went on a roadtrip. We packed into our tiny Rover, I couldn't believe it :D 4 people, a tent, sleeping bags, drinks... :) I planned the entire trip, because I like to make lists and stuff :D Here are some pictures from our trip, I took over 300 pictures in 3 days :D

Chateau Vranov

 Cornstein castle - it's a ruin, but pretty and romantic with spectacular views...

 I took a picture of this bridge as a keepsake for my grandmother. Maybe ten years ago we visited this place with our family on a reunion, and while my grandmother and others were at the campsite, My grandpa, cousin and sister went to this bridge, found the service footpath and we were climbing throug the bottom part of the bridge :) She was so scared and angry, now she can just laugh at it :)

4th of July

Of course we don't celebrate Independence day in Czech republic... we have our own days celebrating our state. But I love any opportunity to dress up for occasions. St.Patrick's day, Halloween, theme parties, I'm all up for it :) I wore my favorite canvas sneakers, star printed tee and white skirt. Super simple and comfortable, but I felt pretty and up to today's theme :)

Celá série Písně ledu a ohně za pár šupů (cca 30 liber) nejvíc děkuju Břetíčkovi že se s nima táhnul až z Anglie <3 už hledám místo na poličkách :D  Ta cena je naprosto neuvěřitelná, u nás tolik stojí pouze první dva díly dohromady ... 

Full series of The song of  Ice and Fire for a great price ( around 30 GBP) I have to thank Břeťa for taking them all the way from England <3 already clearing space in my shelves :D The price is awesome, I counted that in Czech republic, 30 GBP buys you maybe first two books...

What is in this mysterious bag? 

 Objevila jsem dokonalý obchod plný krystalů, peříček, korálků... strávila jsem v něm asi půl hodiny a byla bych i dýl kdyby mě miláček nedotáhl k pokladně :D Vždycky se zlobím že takové obchody nejsou u nás... teda je tu jeden podobný, ale mnooohem menší... a pak jsem vlastně ráda protože ten průvan v peněžence na chvilku stačil :D 

I found a great store full of crystals, feathers, beads etc...I was browsing for around 30 minutes, and I could spend more, if my darling didn't force me to go and pay :D I'm always angry for not having those stores around. Well we have one, much smaller, but similar... then I rethink and I'm grateful, because that would ruin my budget completely...

sovička, nevím z čeho je vyřezaná, ale je úplně krásná a roztomilá, musím si koupit kožený řemínek a budu ji nosit pořád :D 

cute carved owl, I can't tll what material, but it's really cute. I need to get a strip of leather to wear it on and never take it off :)
