Roadtrip - back to the crime scene...

Last year i blogged about a roadtrip we took with my bf, cousin and a friend. This year we decided to go back to the same place. We stayed in the same camp, but as a head planner I made sure we saw different things than last year. It was really awesome, i took a bunch of pictures and we had a good time. The weather was a bit colder, but I was the only one who noticed - the boys made fun of me for wearing so many layers but I was really happy in my onion costume :D

And here a little bonus shot, because if I told you you would never believe...

Yes that's right, we are making dinner on alu-cans :D because my beloved (this wonky little barbecue is from his house) forgot the grid that should hold the meat :D and as we had no other way to make our food, we had to improvise... I had to apologize to him, as I was angry that he drank 4 energy drinks, but if he didn't we wouldn't have anything to cook our dinner on :D

On Saturday my sister, our cousin and I took a trip to Ostrava. My sister studies there and as she wants to move to another apartment next semester, she asked us if we could help. Of course moving was not the only reason to visit. The other was a concert of our favorite band Rybičky 48 (it means Fish 48 :D )

The club it took place at reminded me of my favorite club in Brno, the atmosphere and music they plyed before the band started playing. Also, the supporting band was really great. Young boys maybe around 17, but great skill on their instruments and they had funny and cheeky lyrics. Very skate-punky and really awesome. And as they are from around Ostrava and I'm not, I asked what their name was and their sweet (too young for me :P ) bass player gave me a badge so that I won't forget ;) The band is called On the way by the way :D :D :D

In their merch stand the band had awesome and really cheap (for band merch!) tees, so of course my sister and I bought got one - the same :D It's in the washer now, but I can't wait to wear it and take some outfit pics with it ;)

On Saturday I visited a Salvador Dali exhibition with my Mom and sister. Unfortunately it was forbidden to take pictures inside, so I have one for you from Google :D It was a private collection, so no really well known paintings. They were mostly lithographies, I even took notes on some that I liked for reviewing later, but I can't find them online, probably because they are really lesser known. Also there were some ceramics and statues and an interactive section where you could take your inner surrealist out :D 

I am finally adjusting to my new work schedule, so this blog will hopefully be alive once again. I have a couple DIYs planned, fun next weekend with my sister that I will definitely post about :) and the weather is getting nice, so everything seems great right now ...

First roadtrip of 2014 ...

On Monday we had really beautiful weather, sun all day and 15°C, and I wanted to make good use of it. My boyfriend was off work, so we called a friend and my cousin and took a little trip. We drove around 30 km to a place where I worked my summer job, parked the car there and climbed up to a ruin of a castle. It's called Maiden castle because according to some legends they used to seal young maidens into walls for protection...

We already arranged to go for another trip somewhere else if the weather allows for it next week. It's a much needed change after spending evenings hanging out in parking lots... :) and much healthier too...

Family trip

 This weekend I  went for  a short trip with my family (well, it was short for me, as I had to work today, they are staying for a week). We stayed in a pretty cottage - hotel. When we came there I realised I have already been there few years ago with my dance  team.  :) The  only downside was the weather...

We played a lot of games, pool, bowling, board games :)

I wanted to see so much more in the region we stayed, but unfortunately the weather didn't allow us, and also I had to leave early. But I enjoyed even that short stay, we had a lot of fun. And also, this was probably the last trip of this summer... Can't wait for next summer :D

Road trip...

On Thursday we went on a roadtrip. We packed into our tiny Rover, I couldn't believe it :D 4 people, a tent, sleeping bags, drinks... :) I planned the entire trip, because I like to make lists and stuff :D Here are some pictures from our trip, I took over 300 pictures in 3 days :D

Chateau Vranov

 Cornstein castle - it's a ruin, but pretty and romantic with spectacular views...

 I took a picture of this bridge as a keepsake for my grandmother. Maybe ten years ago we visited this place with our family on a reunion, and while my grandmother and others were at the campsite, My grandpa, cousin and sister went to this bridge, found the service footpath and we were climbing throug the bottom part of the bridge :) She was so scared and angry, now she can just laugh at it :)

Full series of The song of  Ice and Fire for a great price ( around 30 GBP) I have to thank Břeťa for taking them all the way from England <3 already clearing space in my shelves :D The price is awesome, I counted that in Czech republic, 30 GBP buys you maybe first two books...

What is in this mysterious bag? 

 Objevila jsem dokonalý obchod plný krystalů, peříček, korálků... strávila jsem v něm asi půl hodiny a byla bych i dýl kdyby mě miláček nedotáhl k pokladně :D Vždycky se zlobím že takové obchody nejsou u nás... teda je tu jeden podobný, ale mnooohem menší... a pak jsem vlastně ráda protože ten průvan v peněžence na chvilku stačil :D 

I found a great store full of crystals, feathers, beads etc...I was browsing for around 30 minutes, and I could spend more, if my darling didn't force me to go and pay :D I'm always angry for not having those stores around. Well we have one, much smaller, but similar... then I rethink and I'm grateful, because that would ruin my budget completely...

Roadtrippin'

Poslední aprílový den jsme byli s miláčkem na výletě v Mikulově. Původně jsme chtěli na kopec, který je na velké fotce v koláži :) to nevyšlo že, páč jsme líní :D takže jsme se prošli kolem zámku, pofotili se, zašli na kafe a palačinky a jeli jsme domů. Po cestě jsme zastavili ještě u památníku 2. světové války (tank), a potom jsem šla za kamarádem na pivo a popřát k narozeninám :) A můj milovaný chlapec  mi řekl, že doufá že mě nikdo neupálí, že by to rád udělal sám :D :D :D

On the last day of April, my boy and I decided to go on a roadtrip to Mikulov. We planned to climb the hill (big picture), but that didn't work out cause we are lazies :P so we walk around the chateau, took pictures and grabbed some coffee and pancakes :D On our way home we had a break at the WWII memorial. Later I went to see my friend to give him a birthday gift and grab some beer :) And before I left, my darling told me to be careful so no one burns me (witches) , that he would like to do it himself... talk about love :D :D:D
