#Yarn Addict

Its all in the title - Im officially addicted to yarn and crochet. After my trials with basic chains and stuff, completing one handbag and not making progress for a year, Im back to it :D 

Over the last two weeks I learned how to make like three types of flowers, granny squares, and I found this pattern - I saw it on Ravelry many times before but never thought I could do it ...

THIS is it - sample below 

I will be making crochet skull shawl from the grey wool and huuuge bunch of granny squares for pillows from the colored ones. Black is  super thin and I want to try and crochet a lace collar from it ... 

Handmade beanie

Since the weather got colder and I finished my 2nd handbag project, I decided to start crocheting some winter stuff :) started with beanie (although in the first picture its hard to see, bad idea to crochet black beanie if you have black hair :) In pictures I want to show you how I did it...

First I bought a larger hook (size 6 I think) to make the loops larger. I started with basic chain and single crochet stitch all the way. On top you can see where I left out some loops to give the top some more shape (but it doesn't make a difference, if you do it at home, don't bother with it, just crochet a rectangle :)  

Connect both shorter sides with slip stitch and tie the ends...

Take a piece of your yarn and string it through the loops of the last row. Pull it together to close and tie...

Take stupid selfies with your Photobooth :D

Konečně jsem dokončila svoji háčkovanou kabelku :) i s podšívkou... původně jsem do ní chtěla dát zip, ale hrozně klouzal a zatrhávala se mi nit tak jsem se na něj vykašlala. Taška je stejně tak hluboká že kdyby mi do ní někdo chtěl sáhnout tak to ucítím... Už se těším až budu mít příležitost vzít si ji někam a chlubit se s ní :D 

 I finally finished my crochet handbag :) complete with lining... I originally intended to put a zipper in, but it was slipping out and messing with my thread, so I ditched it. Nevermind, the bag is deep enough so when anyone wants to steal from me I would feel it :) I can't wait to wear it out and show off :D 

podšívka je tam hlavně aby se mi o očka nezachytávaly klíče a podobné věci a aby se moc nenatahovaly, ale kdyby mě náhodou přepadla chuť mít oranžovou kabelku tak se dá klidně otočit :D 

 I only did the lining so that my keys and stuff wouldn't get caught into it, and so that it wouldn't stretch too much, but in case I want to wear an orange handbag, I can now :D

Crochet progress

Svůj vestičkový projekt jsem zatím dala k ledu, respektive vymotala do klubíček a mám už další nápad co s tím :) a teď mám další posedlost, protože přítelova maminka (můj háčkovací guru) mě naučila háčkovat do kruhu :D bude to baťůžek nebo taška se stahováním nahoře, takový vak :) jenom doufám že ve švadlence budou mít dost té melírované příze... a už jsem jenom krůček od učení granny squares 

I scrapped my vest project, for many reasons, I turned them back into balls :D now I have another obsession, because my boyfriend's mother (my crochet guru) taught me how to make circles :P i decided to make a bag or a backpack with a drawstring :) i only hope the notion store will have enough of that colored yarn... and I'm a step away from learning granny squares :)

Crochet

Minulý týden jsem si konečně našla čas abych se naučila háčkovat... Sice jsem si nejdřív myslela že skončím u jednoduchých řetízků, ale nakonec se nějak začalo dařit :) Prostě je potřeba zkoušet... takže teď už 3 dny háčkuju tady tohle, což bych chtěla aby byla vestička hipízácká :D ale kdoví jestli ... Zatím jsem ráda za něco co připomíná dečku :D 

Last week I finally had time to learn to crotchet... At first I thought I'd only be able to make basic chains, but finally I got the hang of it. Practice makes perfect :) well, not perfect, but good enough for now :D For 3 days now I have been doing this, which i'd love to turn into a boho style vest, but who knows :D For now I'm glad it looks like a blanket :P
