Quick fixes

Today I want to share two little hacks, I cant even call them DIYs :D 

First is a t-shirt hack, I've seen it somewhere on the internet, but who knows where... This is the back of my tee, i cut little straight lines over the back and it looks great. Excuse the chalk marks, I was excited to take pictures :) This was planned for a couple weeks now, but I just didnt have time... Well it took maybe 20 minutes... :P I cut the sleeves into thin strips which now fall nicely from my shoulders, and I added black triangular studs to the last row of holes....

Todays second hack is this patch jacket turned into a vest. You may remember my post about this jacket from last year (too lazy to look it up :P) I was planning to have many more patches on it by this time, but I didn't find any Id like to add :) I cut off the sleeves as close to the seams as I could and as I collected a bunch of new band pins I added them to it (not pictured)...

Do these count as DIYs ? :) I dont know, I dont care, I like it :)

Witches and Black cats

Today was such a beautiful day. We had nothing to do at work, but we had a lot of fun :D also, we finished early, so I finally got a chance to visit the sweetest little shop - Black Cat. As today is the Walpurgis night, they had yummy bloody snacks, witch hats and special discount for everyone arriving on broomsticks...I told the owner I arrived in a hell machine (my lovely car) :D 

I went there with a plan of exactly what I wanted, also with a limited budget (they dont have the option to pay card until next week) which is fortunate, otherwise I'd spend all my money! :) 

So here, I got this awesome skeleton hand necklace, you can get your own here...

Black cat sticker fit like a glove over my steering wheel logo :D easy tuning...

I know where to spend all my money from now on :)

Darryl Hannah looks cool

Dress up...

 I bought these last week when we visited the Salvador Dali exhibition I wrote about. I absolutely love all of these pieces. Mostly the jacket, I really wanted one like that, it will go perfectly with all my clothes... :) The crossed sweater was on a huge discount (I got it for not even 20% the original price) And I absolutely love the skirt. It's from H&M and I love it. 

 last Wednesday work outfit, pictures taken on my tablet before I went to work. Jacket F&F, sweater New Yorker, leggings unknown shop. I wore simple black tee under the sweater and black sneakers with it...

Another work outfit, skirt H&M, black simple tee, sheer swimsuit cover-up (yes, this is beach clothes not a cardigan :D ), F&F shoes 

I finally got more into taking outfit pictures. It's really simple with tablet, leave it in the stand and just capture. The quality is not too good, but the front camera seems a little cheap :/ Oh well, I will take these pictures on some days, Not every day, I don't have time for that ... :)

On Saturday my sister, our cousin and I took a trip to Ostrava. My sister studies there and as she wants to move to another apartment next semester, she asked us if we could help. Of course moving was not the only reason to visit. The other was a concert of our favorite band Rybičky 48 (it means Fish 48 :D )

The club it took place at reminded me of my favorite club in Brno, the atmosphere and music they plyed before the band started playing. Also, the supporting band was really great. Young boys maybe around 17, but great skill on their instruments and they had funny and cheeky lyrics. Very skate-punky and really awesome. And as they are from around Ostrava and I'm not, I asked what their name was and their sweet (too young for me :P ) bass player gave me a badge so that I won't forget ;) The band is called On the way by the way :D :D :D

In their merch stand the band had awesome and really cheap (for band merch!) tees, so of course my sister and I bought got one - the same :D It's in the washer now, but I can't wait to wear it and take some outfit pics with it ;)

On Saturday I visited a Salvador Dali exhibition with my Mom and sister. Unfortunately it was forbidden to take pictures inside, so I have one for you from Google :D It was a private collection, so no really well known paintings. They were mostly lithographies, I even took notes on some that I liked for reviewing later, but I can't find them online, probably because they are really lesser known. Also there were some ceramics and statues and an interactive section where you could take your inner surrealist out :D 

I am finally adjusting to my new work schedule, so this blog will hopefully be alive once again. I have a couple DIYs planned, fun next weekend with my sister that I will definitely post about :) and the weather is getting nice, so everything seems great right now ...
